3 Ways to Keep Moving When You “Can’t Even.”

We all have those days that we just “can’t even” continue with whatever it is that we are required to continue with. Here are 3 ways in which you can take a moment to rejuvenate yourself, and get things done!

1. Take a few moments to yourself. You might meditate, or take a brisk walk, or close the door and sit quietly for a few minutes. This simple act helps clear your head so that you can focus on the task at hand.

2. Deep Breaths. I know, this sounds like some bullshit mumbo-jumbo. But, many people swear by it. Stop and focus on your breathing, especially deep breaths for several minutes, you will essentially move your focus away from the current chaos. Then you can once again focus on the task at hand.

3. Step away from the task. Sometimes, especially if it’s not and issue that immediately needs your attention, it is best to step away from it for a short time. Work on something else, Read an article or chapter in a book, or just get up and take a 15 to 30 minute break. This helps to clear your head and then focus on the task at hand.

Staying Balanced

It’s so difficult to stay balanced between work, social, learning, family, health, etc.

It occurred to me not too long ago, that I wasn’t the only one struggling to keep up. So, I began to think of ways that I could manage all of the endless “things” that I had going on. After many months of struggling with different ways to motivate myself, un-clutter my workspace, and follow the general ideas one might find online… it finally came to me!

How much of this bullshit do I really NEED in my life?
